Modular heat pumps of MCU series are eco-friendly units that efficiently create comfortable climate at various facilities. The modular heat pump is quick and easy to install, while allowing staged investments due to its reasonable price.
The heat pumps of RECOVERY (MCU-YHR) series provide full heat recovery using eco-friendly refrigerant R410A. The unit can operate in different modes, including cooling, cooling + heat recovery, heating, and domestic hot water.
This heat pump is particularly suitable for facilities that simultaneously need cooling and hot water, such as hotels, schools, restaurants, hospitals, and saunas.
Free hot water
In the cooling mode, the heat pump utilizes the waste heat from the room to produce free hot water up to 55 °C. This modular unit can meet the user’s demand for hot water instead of a boiler, while cutting down the initial investments and saving energy in an eco-friendly manner.
Compact design
Along with the conventional heat pump functionality, the compact design enables efficient heat recovery without the need to use much extra floor space.
Application
Hotels, schools, and other facilities that require cooling and hot water.
Cooling mode
This mode can be used in summer or during inter-season, when only cooling is needed. The unit operates as a conventional air-to-water heat pump.
Heat recovery mode
This mode is useful when there is a demand for both cooling and domestic hot water. In this mode, the heat pump automatically selects the most suitable mode of operation based on the demand for cooling and hot water.
Hot water mode
This mode can be used when only hot water is needed. In this case, the heat pump only provides hot water like a conventional air-to-water heat pump.
Heating mode
This mode can be used during winter and inter-season, when you only need heating for operation of the heating system. The unit serves as a conventional air-to-water heat pump operating in the heating mode.
Heating + hot water
This mode is useful during winter and inter-season, when both heating and hot water are needed. In this case, the default priority mode is the hot water mode; once the demand for hot water is met, the unit automatically switches to the heating mode to meet the demand for heating. You can change the priority as necessary.
